Michael Torres (Sayuva) is bringing the next generation along with him.

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Sayuva has been training his voice since the 4th grade. Now, he’s pursuing a bachelor’s in music education at UCLA under the supervision of Dr. Lily Chen-Haftek and Dr. Johanna Gamboa-Kroesen, and he is studying voice under Michael Dean.

Since attending UCLA, Sayuva has made many strides as a music educator and musician. He is a proud performer of the UCLA Marching Band, playing Alto Saxophone for three years. He is a member of various vocal groups, including UCLA Chamber Singers and Adoro Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Joung-A Monica Yum. He is also a solo artist, mastering his craft within the Latin R&B Genre, hoping to inspire others to discover the beauty of merging cultural music.

When he achieves his Music Education degree, Michael intends to share his passion and love for electronic music with many classrooms in the Southern California region.
